For transfers from Innsbruck train station or airport, we can provide the contact details of a local shuttle service. The organisation of these transfers is arranged directly by our guests.
The village centre is about a 10-minute walk away. Shops, sports rental services and cafés are therefore easily reachable on foot.
Hotel Spielmann is located in the Ehrwald valley basin in Ehrwald (Tyrol, Austria) at an altitude of 1,007 metres above sea level. Behind the hotel rises the Wetterstein mountain range with the Zugspitze (2,964 m), Germany’s highest peak.

The ski areas of the Zugspitz Arena can be reached quickly and easily from our hotel. Directly in front of the hotel is the Sonnenhang lift, which belongs to the Wettersteinbahnen ski area. Here you can enjoy ski-in and ski-out directly from the hotel.
The Ehrwalder Alm ski area and the Tyrolean Zugspitzbahn can be reached within a short drive by ski bus or private car. The other ski areas of the region – such as Lermoos, Biberwier and Berwang – are also well connected and can be reached in around 10 to 20 minutes.

The valley station of the Zugspitz mountain railway is only a few minutes away by car, bus or bicycle and can also be reached on foot. Depending on your walking pace, it takes about 30 to 40 minutes through the village.
