Without waiting times and queueing you can begin your skiing adventure. Directly from the hotel’s ski room, with your ski ticket ready, you hit the slopes of the Ski area Sonnenhang with connection to the Wetterstein lift. A combination of thrilling descents for experienced skiers and slopes for beginners, a blend of sunshine and glistening snow, attracting winter fans of all kinds. The ski bus takes you directly from the ski hotel Spielmann to all the other ski resorts of the region, to the family ski area Ehrwalder Alm, the glacier skiing paradise of the Zugspitze with ski slopes taking you 2,700 metres high, Lermoos Grubigstein, Biberwier and Berwang-Bichlbach. With the Top Snow Card you experience skiing fun without limits on 213 kilometres of slopes between the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Mittenwald and Grainau – providing terrain for all ambitious snow lovers.

Two ski schools want to sharpen your skills on the skis. Directly next to our hotel, on the ski school area of the Sunracer lift the little ski lovers meet to build their skills and confidence. In the beginner’s area – the Confettialm - they make their first steps on the belt lift or get ready for the first downhill ride on the beginner’s slopes. The way back to the hotel is short and simple – also on skis. If you take a coffee break on our sun terrace you can watch the little ones or invigorate yourself with a little snack. If you need suitable ski equipment you can rent it at a special rate with one of our partner businesses.

Die Tiroler Zugspitz Arena was declared Cross-Country Ski Holidays Destination, providing perfect conditions for XC skiers in classical or skating style. Impressive tracks, glistening in the sunshine, picturesque panorama and idyllic landscape. Encounter a true cross-country Eldorado. Experience the moment in the rhythm of your own heartbeat, whether you prefer the challenge of the high-altitude track or the wonderful setting of the Golf Loop Trail. The longest trail leads you through the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena on 40 exciting kilometres on the Arena Trail. And in Heiterwang you can even enjoy the fun on the lit paths in the evening.

Set amidst the mountains of the Wetterstein massif, at the ski hotel Spielmann so many peaks are luring, that the decision which one to conquer first could be a hard one. In winter you can start your adventures on skis. Conquer the towering and majestic snow-capped mountains, walk through the tranquil forests. On the peak you can take a deep breath, inhale the clear mountain air, enjoy the view. And then you ride down to the valley. In deep snow, powder or firn. Go on exploration tour with a certified guide, showing you the most beautiful spots. Experience unforgettable time.

If you have had enough of the skiing fun for the day, you can enjoy the various tobogganing runs with your whole family. The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is the home of some exciting runs in various lengths. From the longest in Lermoos to the ones in Bichlbach, Biberwier, Berwang straight to the two runs directly in Ehrwald. If you cannot find enough time during the day, there’s also the opportunity to race down the tracks on floodlit runs.
